Troy P. Foster

Troy P. Foster is a partner at The Foster Group and a highly respected employment law attorney with over two decades of experience. A fourth-generation Arizona native, Troy exclusively represents employees in legal disputes involving their employers. His deep insight into employment matters is rooted in his unique background as a former Chief Human Resources Officer and his prior role defending companies in employment claims. These perspectives allow him to anticipate the opposing side’s strategies and effectively advocate for his clients.

Troy earned his J.D., cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law in 1996. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal and made the Dean’s List. He also holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from Northern Arizona University, where he was also recognized on the Dean’s List.

Troy launched his legal career clerking for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Arizona Court of Appeals. Today, he focuses exclusively on employment law, representing employees and employers in civil rights claims, workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour disputes, retaliation, whistleblower cases, and wrongful termination. He also advises businesses of all sizes—from startups to large corporations—on employment compliance, workplace policies, and organizational best practices.
