Lawrence Morales II is an accomplished trial attorney known for achieving tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients. He focuses his practice on labor law, employment law, and business litigation, handling complex cases involving fraud, unfair competition, discrimination, retaliation, and contract disputes.
Morales holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas, where he was a member of the Texas Cowboys Service Organization. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Baylor University School of Law. While at Baylor, he was Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review and a standout member of both the Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams.
Morales is certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His legal career includes clerking for the Honorable Priscilla R. Owen at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and practicing at Haynes and Boone, LLP in its labor and employment section. Prior to law school, he worked as a financial analyst for Kimberly-Clark.
Morales has handled major litigation involving non-compete agreements, trade secret theft, and wage and hour law. He regularly advises companies during Department of Labor audits and helps employees negotiate severance terms. His courtroom skills and legal insight make him a trusted advisor in high-stakes legal matters.
Morales served as President of the San Antonio Bar Association (2021–2022) and currently sits on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors. He has also chaired a grievance panel and served on numerous bar and community legal committees throughout Texas.
