Maggie Schroedter

Maggie Schroedter is a highly respected attorney and co-founder of Robberson Schroedter LLP, where she focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, business bankruptcy, and creditor’s rights. With a proven track record representing financial institutions and business clients, Maggie has become a go-to resource for resolving high-stakes disputes and insolvency matters.

Maggie holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Florida. Her strong academic foundation supports her deep understanding of business and financial law, positioning her to skillfully handle commercial disputes, insolvency cases, and high-stakes restructuring efforts.

Maggie regularly represents creditors, trustees, and debtors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. She handles everything from nondischargeability claims to preference actions, automatic stay relief, and complex bankruptcy appeals. Her experience includes representing receivers, including those appointed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and securing favorable outcomes in multimillion-dollar disputes, including defending clients against claims brought by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Admitted to practice in California and all federal districts, Maggie also appears before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her leadership in the legal community is significant. She is a Past President of the Lawyers Club of San Diego and former President of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum. Currently, she serves on the Board of Governors for ABTL San Diego and the California Bankruptcy Forum.
