Todd Court

Todd Court is a shareholder at McAfee & Taft in Oklahoma City, where he represents clients in a wide range of litigation, with a primary focus on labor and employment disputes, commercial conflicts, real estate matters, and unfair competition. His litigation work spans state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative forums.

Todd earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University in 2002, where he was a member of the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Team. He received his B.B.A. from Oklahoma State University in 1998. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Todd counsels employers on compliance with Title VII, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and state labor laws. He also handles union matters, including collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and defense against unfair labor practice claims under the National Labor Relations Act and related statutes.

In addition to his labor and employment practice, Todd represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation involving contracts, breaches of fiduciary duty, trade secret disputes, and partnership agreements. His real estate litigation experience covers construction defect claims, landlord-tenant disputes, and claims arising from property disclosure issues. Todd also drafts and negotiates contracts and provides strategic transaction counseling designed to minimize risk and help clients avoid costly litigation.
