Thomas F. Alexander

Thomas F. Alexander is a Shareholder at Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren Ltd., whose practice centers on commercial real estate law, finance, construction contracting, and related business transactions. He represents buyers and sellers in property deals, lenders and borrowers in loan transactions, and landlords and tenants in leasing matters. He also has extensive experience creating common interest communities, including condominiums and planned communities, and advising clients on development, title, survey, and construction issues throughout Minnesota.

Mr. Alexander earned his B.A. in Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1987 and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1994. He was admitted to practice in Minnesota in 1994 and North Dakota in 2013. His education and admissions support a transactional practice involving real estate development, financing, leasing, construction, and business matters for clients operating across Minnesota and neighboring jurisdictions in a range of commercial projects.

Mr. Alexander has represented national and regional developers, lenders, healthcare groups, manufacturers, and other businesses in complex transactions. His work includes residential community development, homeowner and master associations, office building purchases, warehouse leasing, construction projects, veterinary clinic sales, and real estate secured financing. He has also assisted clients with condominium and mixed-use developments, multi-location business sales, and leasing or construction matters involving medical device manufacturers and other commercial enterprises across locations.

Thomas F. Alexander is a Minnesota State Bar Association Board Certified Real Property Specialist. He has served on the boards of the Savage Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and previously taught Construction Contracts in Dunwoody Technical College’s Construction Management Program. Through his legal service, he advises clients on real estate, finance, construction, transactions, healthcare, and administrative matters, combining experience with guidance on development, lending, leasing, and ownership structures.
