Patrick J. Cole

Patrick J. Cole is a Shareholder at Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren Ltd. who advises businesses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, complex transactions, compensation arrangements, regulatory compliance, and governance matters. His corporate practice includes private debt and equity financings, shareholder relationships and disputes, organizational structure, succession planning, and real estate law development. He also serves as outside general counsel to privately held companies and advises clients on strategic business decisions across multiple industries and sectors effectively.

Patrick earned his B.A. from the University of Minnesota and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law. While in law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Creighton Law Review and was named a James L. Koley Scholar of Constitutional Law. He is admitted in Minnesota and Nebraska and in federal trial and appellate courts, including the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Patrick has significant experience advising healthcare clients on regulatory and transactional matters. His work includes Stark Law and anti-kickback compliance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, professional services agreements, medical practice sales, and practice transition arrangements. He also represents buyers and sellers of dental and veterinary practices, advising on compensation, succession planning, partnership structures, employment matters, real estate, and licensing. His business work also includes manufacturing, construction, engineering, and professional services clients.

Patrick J. Cole is affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association Health Law Section, Nebraska State Bar Association, and Minnesota Medical Group Management Association. He has served on several community and professional boards, including The Center for Irish Music and the Twin Cities Creighton Alumni Board. Through his legal services, he combines corporate, healthcare, transactional, regulatory, and real estate experience to help clients structure deals, address compliance issues, and manage ongoing business relationships.
