Scott Girard

Scott Girard is the founder of Girard Immigration Law LLC and an experienced immigration attorney who represents individuals and businesses in complex immigration matters. His practice focuses on removal defense, immigration law, family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, naturalization, and business immigration. Over the years, he has helped many clients navigate the immigration system, defend their rights, and pursue lawful status in the United States. His work often involves representing clients in immigration court and guiding them through challenging legal processes.

Mr. Girard earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2013. He previously completed his B.A. from Kansas State University in 2009. His academic training provided a strong legal foundation and prepared him to work in complex areas of immigration law. Through his education, he developed the research, advocacy, and analytical skills necessary to handle detailed immigration cases and represent clients effectively before courts and government agencies.

Mr. Girard built extensive experience in immigration litigation and removal defense before founding Girard Immigration Law LLC. He previously managed the law firm HSD Immigration LLC in Lenexa, Kansas, and earlier operated the Law Offices of Scott A. Girard. He also worked for four years at Sharma-Crawford Attorneys at Law, a nationally recognized immigration litigation firm in Kansas City, Missouri, where he represented clients before the Kansas City Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Scott Girard is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri and is admitted to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and several federal district courts. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar Association. He has also contributed to the legal field through publications and professional presentations on immigration litigation and asylum trial preparation, helping other practitioners better understand immigration law procedures.
