Vitoria Guimarães

Vitoria Guimarães, Esq., is a Partner at Brooks Law Firm and serves as the Head of the Workers’ Compensation department. She leads one of the firm’s largest practice areas and oversees complex workers’ compensation law cases. With more than a decade of experience in the legal field, she focuses on protecting the rights of injured workers and helping clients secure the benefits they deserve. Her work includes managing litigation strategy, guiding cases through settlement or trial, and ensuring every client receives clear guidance throughout the legal process.

Vitoria earned a degree in Public Relations in Brazil before pursuing a legal career. She later obtained her J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law. Her legal education prepared her for the demands of workers’ compensation and immigration-related matters. Through her studies and practical training, she developed strong legal research, advocacy, and case management skills that support her work with injured workers and their families.

Vitoria began her legal career in a client-facing role at Brooks Law Firm, where she gained valuable insight into the legal needs of working individuals and immigrant communities. She later gained additional experience working at an immigration law firm, where she assisted clients navigating complex legal systems. After becoming licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut, she returned to Brooks Law Firm and assumed a leadership role in the workers’ compensation department.

Vitoria Guimarães manages a team of attorneys and legal staff while remaining actively involved in litigation. She works closely with clients to ensure they understand their rights and legal options after a workplace injury. By combining careful case strategy with strong advocacy, she helps injured workers pursue fair compensation, medical benefits, and long-term financial protection through the workers’ compensation system.
