Rachel Barrick focuses her practice on business litigation and employment-related disputes, helping clients navigate challenging conflicts with careful preparation and professionalism. Her background includes service as a federal law clerk in Georgia, where she gained early insight into judicial processes before transitioning into private practice.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of Florida. She continued her legal education at Emory University School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor with honors. During her time at Emory, she sharpened her research and writing skills while serving as Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory Law Journal.
Rachel also expanded her legal skills through hands-on experience in Emory’s clinics. At the Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic, she worked on child advocacy and public policy matters that protect vulnerable youth. She also contributed to the Turner Environmental Law Clinic, supporting environmental protection initiatives and advising on regulatory compliance issues.
Rachel further developed her foundation in law while clerking for the Honorable Judge Christopher C. Bly in the Northern District of Georgia. She was entrusted with drafting orders, preparing reports and recommendations, and addressing pretrial matters, gaining valuable courtroom and case management experience.
Rachel is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. Her engagement in these organizations reflects her dedication to continued professional growth and service within the legal community.
