Ashkahn Mohamadi

Ashkahn Mohamadi is a top-rated partner and trial attorney at Sweet James, where he leads significant litigation matters across California. Ashkahn began his academic journey at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also participated in the UCDC program, interning with the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Washington, D.C. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, completing the Hobbs Program while externing with the District Attorney’s Office in Compton, California. These experiences equipped him with trial preparation skills and a foundation in criminal and civil litigation.

Over the course of his career, Ashkahn has recovered more than $100 million for clients through settlements and jury verdicts. Notable results include a $22,750,000 verdict in Thomas v. Nineteenee (ranked 25th in California’s annual Top Verdicts), a $17,476,817.50 verdict in Dutton v. City of Hanford (the largest in Kings County history), and a $3,965,000 verdict in Wood v. St. Mary’s Medical Center. His 2016 verdict in Bedford-Oppong v. Hereu was ranked among California’s Top 40 that year.
