Philip deV. Claverie, Jr. has developed a career built on guiding complex transactions in finance, real estate, and business. Phil earned his B.A. in Psychology from Lehigh University in 1999 before obtaining his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2004. This combination of analytical training and legal education provided the foundation for his practical problem-solving approach, allowing him to navigate complicated financing, acquisitions, and property development with clarity and precision.
Phil has represented national and local lenders in significant financing matters, including a $400 million syndicated construction loan for student housing projects across the country. He has also assembled nearly 1,000 acres of land for a modular LNG facility in Lake Charles, guiding negotiations with a wide range of landowners. His work extends to assisting developers with self-storage projects and advising businesses on property acquisitions, leasing, and incentive negotiations.
Phill’s accomplishments in the legal field have earned recognition in The Best Lawyers in America for Banking and Finance Law (2024–2026), Corporate Law (2026), and Real Estate Law (2018–2023, 2025–2026).
