Bruce D. Greenberg

Bruce D. Greenberg is a nationally recognized litigator with more than 35 years of experience in appellate and complex commercial litigation. He has argued and briefed cases before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Appellate Division, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and federal and state courts across the country. Known as “the Dean of the New Jersey Supreme Court Bar,” Bruce is trusted for his ability to secure precedent-setting victories and multimillion-dollar results.

Mr. Greenberg graduated from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Writing and Research Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law & Social Problems. He also clerked for Justice Daniel J. O’Hern of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. His admissions include the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the District of New Jersey, and the New Jersey Bar.

Throughout his career, Mr. Greenberg has served as lead or co-lead counsel in numerous landmark class actions, achieving nationwide settlements worth hundreds of millions of dollars. His work spans antitrust, securities fraud, consumer fraud, product liability, and commercial litigation. Notable results include a $750 million settlement of insurance sales practices claims, a $193 million securities settlement, and numerous nationwide consumer protection recoveries.

Honored with listings in Best Lawyers in America and consistently named a New Jersey Super Lawyer since 2005, Bruce D. Greenberg is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
