Mr. Davis earned his J.D. from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1993 and his A.B. from Cornell University in 1987. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Courts for Maryland and D.C., the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Davis began his career as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He then spent 20 years at leading international law firms, managing IP portfolios and handling high-stakes litigation for global clients. His technical background in physics, mechanical engineering, and biochemistry enables him to handle complex technologies such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, network hardware, software, medical devices, and industrial equipment. He also negotiates patent license agreements and R&D contracts, helping clients protect and monetize their innovations.
