Justin R. Jackson is a registered patent attorney at Peacock Law P.C., where he has been practicing since 2005. Mr. Jackson earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2005 and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 2001. He is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., and is admitted to several federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the 10th Circuit.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Jackson worked in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Oklahoma State University, designing circuits and building lab projects. His engineering background and hands-on experience with tools and fabrication give him a unique edge when communicating with inventors and understanding the technical nature of their innovations. His career has included work for independent inventors, universities, startups, federal labs, and major corporations across industries like aerospace, electronics, materials science, optics, software, and chemical engineering.
