About
Jordan M. Halle is a partner at Whiteford Taylor Preston, LLP, where he focuses on business and corporate law, tax strategy, intellectual property, and franchising. He advises startups, corporations, and investors on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, licensing, and regulatory matters. Mr. Halle also has significant experience navigating federal programs such as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), having helped secure millions in relief and successfully appealed forgiveness denials exceeding $2 million.
Mr. Halle earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017 and a J.D., valedictorian, from the same institution in 2014, where he was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society. He holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut. He is admitted to practice in Maryland.
As Co-Chair of the firm’s CARES Act committee, Mr. Halle has authored numerous articles and played a key role in securing significant PPP relief for businesses. He also previously clerked for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia of the Maryland Court of Appeals. His broad experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Franchise and Distribution Law Committee, a Fellow in the MSBA Business Law Clerkship program, and a member of several editorial boards. His writing and leadership extend beyond the legal field into community work, including serving as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Museum of Maryland and Chair of the IMPACT Young Professionals Committee of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore.
