Paul D. Sunshine

Paul D. Sunshine is a partner at Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, practicing in the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office. He focuses on litigation matters, including general liability, construction defects, trucking and transportation law, and commercial disputes, offering over 25 years of comprehensive legal experience.

Paul earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1993 after completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Delaware in 1990. He is admitted to practice in Delaware, Maryland, and the U.S. District Courts for both states. He began his legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Vincent A. Bifferato in the Delaware Superior Court.

Paul represents clients ranging from regional businesses to international corporations in complex litigation across Delaware and Maryland. He is known for aligning legal strategy with clients’ business objectives, delivering results through customized and efficient litigation defense plans tailored to their industries and goals.

Certified as an advanced mediator and approved arbitrator by the Delaware Superior Court in 2010, Paul also serves in dispute resolution roles and was appointed Special Master to the Family Court. His litigation insight is further recognized through his membership in the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court.

Dedicated to legal education, Paul teaches as an adjunct faculty member at both Delaware Technical and Community College and Wilmington University. He also contributes as a judge for the Widener Moot Court Competition and Delaware’s High School Mock Trial Competition, reflecting his commitment to mentoring future legal professionals.
