P. Daniel Williams

P. Daniel (“Dan”) Williams is a Florida Board Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist and a founding member of Magid & Williams, PA, in Jacksonville. With a practice devoted exclusively to labor and employment law, Dan has spent his career representing employees in complex workplace disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, and wage claims.

Dan earned his J.D. with honors from Drake University Law School in 1994 and has been practicing labor and employment law since becoming a member of the Florida Bar that same year. He holds the prestigious AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by 904 Magazine as one of Jacksonville’s “Top River City Lawyers.”

A passionate advocate for pregnant workers, Dan authored The Pregnancy Discrimination Act: A Guide for Plaintiff Employment Lawyers, published by the Bureau of National Affairs. His legal scholarship reflects his commitment to advancing protections for employees facing gender and pregnancy discrimination.

In addition to his practice, Dan serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he teaches Remedies—a course focused on monetary and equitable relief in civil litigation. He frequently lectures on employment law topics at continuing legal education seminars across the state.

P. Daniel Williams is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He served as President of the Florida Chapter of NELA from 2008 to 2009 and remains an active member of its executive board.

Admitted to all Florida courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Dan continues to advocate for employees facing workplace injustice with expertise, integrity, and dedication.
