Michele D. Allen has built her career around labor and employment law, handling a wide range of issues such as discrimination, civil rights, workplace policies, and contract disputes. Her practice combines years of trial work with advising clients in mediation, arbitration, and before government agencies, offering thoughtful strategies tailored to each case.
Michele completed her Bachelor of Arts at Trinity College in Washington, D.C., before earning her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in Wilmington. She is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Michele began her career at the Philadelphia Public Defenders Office, where she represented clients in serious criminal matters, including felonies, misdemeanors, and juvenile cases. She later served as Assistant County Attorney for New Castle County, defending civil rights claims against the County. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of litigation and advocacy, which she has continued to refine throughout her career.
Michele has advised healthcare professionals in contract negotiations with hospitals and practice groups, while also representing businesses and employees in workplace disputes. She provides counsel on compliance issues, discipline and termination procedures, and prepares employment, separation, and severance agreements to help clients prevent costly litigation. Her experience also extends to representing clients before regulatory boards and agencies.
Michele D. Allen continues to advocate for her clients with skill, persistence, and a practical approach, ensuring fair and effective resolutions to complex employment law matters.
