About
Casey Rose Denson is the founder of Casey Denson Law, LLC, a New Orleans firm dedicated to protecting employee rights. She represents clients in employment discrimination, retaliation, wage disputes, whistleblower matters, and civil rights claims, while also advising employers on compliance to foster fair and lawful workplaces. Her practice is defined by both vigorous advocacy and collaborative problem-solving.
Casey graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University and Tulane Law School, where she was managing editor of the Tulane Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. After clerking in Louisiana’s 16th Judicial District Court, she practiced as a public defender and child protective services attorney in New York. She later litigated civil rights and employment cases in Colorado before returning to New Orleans in 2018 to establish her own firm.
Casey’s experience spans state and federal courts across Louisiana and Mississippi, with admissions to the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and multiple district courts.
Super Lawyers® recognizes Casey and has been named a Top Lawyer in Labor and Employment Law by New Orleans Magazine. She is also a leader in the bar, serving as Co-Chair of the New Orleans Bar Association Labor and Employment Committee and Chair of the Louisiana Bar Association’s Labor Law Advisory Commission.
In addition to her litigation practice, Casey Rose Denson is an accomplished mediator, having conducted more than 100 mediations. She also teaches mediation and advocacy at Tulane Law School and speaks nationally on topics related to employment, civil rights, and ethics. Through her legal practice, mediation work, and leadership roles, she continues to advance justice for individuals while guiding employers toward stronger, more equitable workplace practices.
