Patrick Wooten

Patrick Wooten is the Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyers, P.A., where he combines more than 30 years of legal experience with proven leadership. Known for his dedication to client advocacy and his results-driven approach, Patrick has built a reputation as one of Mississippi’s leading personal injury attorneys.

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Military Science from Appalachian State University in 1990. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1994, laying the foundation for his distinguished career. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar shortly thereafter and later to the District of Columbia Bar in 2023.

Throughout his career, Patrick has been widely recognized for his legal accomplishments. His accolades include being named Lawyer of the Year by Mississippi College School of Law in 2025, as well as awards from the National Trial Lawyers, the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and Martindale-Hubbell®. His consistent recognition reflects his dedication to delivering outstanding client service and achieving exceptional results.

Patrick’s professional involvement includes serving on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi Association for Justice and contributing to the Mississippi Bar Association’s Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. His leadership ensures access to justice for Mississippians while advancing ethical standards within the legal profession.

In addition to his legal career, Patrick Wooten served honorably for 24 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard, retiring as a Major. His service included a deployment to Afghanistan, where he acted as Command Judge Advocate. This military background, combined with his legal expertise, underscores his lifelong commitment to service, justice, and leadership.
