Matthew K. Fenton is a founding partner at Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A., where he represents employees throughout Florida in a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage disputes. With over thirty years of experience, he has built a reputation for fearless advocacy, holding employers accountable and securing justice for workers throughout the state.
Matthew earned both his Bachelor of Arts in English (1989) and his Juris Doctor (1993), with honors, from the University of Florida, where he also served on the Editorial Board of the University of Florida Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. His early experience as a federal judicial law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Pizzo helped shape his disciplined, client-centered approach to trial advocacy.
