Laura A. Menninger is a shareholder at Haddon, Morgan & Foreman, P.C., where she brings decades of trial experience to her criminal defense and civil litigation practice. Laura earned her Juris Doctor with distinction from Stanford Law School in 1997, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1991. She clerked for the Honorable Lewis A. Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York before beginning her litigation career at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
Laura’s legal career spans commercial litigation, public defense, and private practice. Before joining the firm in 2012, Laura served for five years as a trial lawyer with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office and practiced at Holland & Hart. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York, and multiple federal courts, including the Second and Tenth Circuits.
Laura has successfully defended clients in criminal prosecutions and resolved civil disputes through both trial and strategic pre-trial dismissals.
