Kerry Morgan

Kerry Morgan is a shareholder whose practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, business law, and real estate matters. She works with individuals, families, and business owners to develop comprehensive estate plans, administer decedents’ estates, and handle business formation, purchase and sale transactions, franchise agreement negotiations, and a range of corporate and real estate legal matters. She is committed to helping clients prepare for long-term financial security through structured and practical legal planning.

Kerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in History, summa cum laude, from Missouri State University in 2011 and a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2015. During law school, she served as Managing Editor of The Urban Lawyer and received the Joseph E. Stevens, Jr. Memorial Prize along with the West Publishing Company Award for Outstanding Scholarly Accomplishment. In 2024, she completed a Master of Laws in Taxation and an Estate Planning Certificate from Villanova University, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.

Kerry began her legal career at Collins & Jones and has built a practice centered on helping clients navigate complex estate and business matters with clarity and efficiency. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the American Bar Association, Cass County Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and Missouri Bar Association.

Kerry Morgan was selected to the Missouri and Kansas Rising Stars list from 2023 through 2025 and is the author of Municipalities and Religion: The Lessons of Town of Greece v. Galloway, published in The Urban Lawyer. She continues to provide strategic legal guidance designed to help clients protect assets, manage estates, and achieve long-term planning goals.
