Julie DeWoody Greathouse

Julie DeWoody Greathouse is the managing member at PPGMR Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. She regularly handles civil litigation in state and federal courts, including trial and appellate matters. Her practice includes appellate practice, environmental law, business and commercial law, natural resources, oil and gas law, toxic torts, water law, antitrust, and trial practice. Clients rely on her guidance in complex disputes involving regulatory, commercial, environmental, and constitutional issues.

Ms. Greathouse earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1999. During law school, she served as Survey/Comments Editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board and National Trial Team. She earned her B.S. from Harding University in 1996, graduating magna cum laude. Her academic training supports her work in litigation, appellate advocacy, research, and complex legal analysis.

Before joining the firm in 2000, Ms. Greathouse served as a law clerk to Justice Robert L. Brown on the Arkansas Supreme Court. She later developed an active litigation and appellate practice in Arkansas and federal courts. Her experience includes serving as lead trial and appellate counsel in Arkansas Game and Fish Commission v. United States, where she and her team won a unanimous decision before the United States Supreme Court in a Fifth Amendment takings case.
