Mark Allen

Mark Allen is a partner at Allen Law whose practice focuses primarily on family law litigation and collaborative family law. With more than three decades of legal experience, he represents clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, fathers’ rights, adoption, and modifications of child or spousal support. He also handles estate planning, probate, business representation, traffic offenses, municipal court matters, and civil medical malpractice claims. He has successfully litigated cases in Missouri circuit and appellate courts.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 1985 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 1991. He has also authored publications on family law, including topics related to child support, custody, and discovery techniques in family law practice.

After receiving his law license in 1991, Mark began practicing family law and became Managing Partner of Allen Law. Throughout his career, he has concentrated on litigation and collaborative law while expanding his practice to include estate planning, probate, and traffic matters. He is a former President of the Clay County Bar Association and is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Missouri Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Mark is licensed to practice law in Missouri.

Mark Allen works closely with clients to resolve family law disputes through litigation or collaborative legal processes, depending on their goals and circumstances. His practice emphasizes practical legal guidance across a range of personal and business matters.
