About

Trevor Savage is a Maine trial lawyer at Gideon Asen LLC, representing plaintiffs in truck accidents, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and other high-stakes lawsuits and disputes across Northern New England. He helps clients facing serious injuries, loss, and complex liability disputes. His background includes work for corporations, hospitals, health care providers, and insurers. That experience gives him insight into defense strategy, risk evaluation, trial preparation, and weaknesses that can shape effective plaintiff advocacy in demanding cases.

Trevor earned a J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. He received a B.S. summa cum laude from Emerson College. During law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Maine Law Review and worked as a legal writing teaching assistant. He also interned for Judge Kermit V. Lipez of the First Circuit, supporting strong research, writing, and appellate analysis for trial briefing and case development.

Trevor has helped recover more than $70 million for clients facing devastating injuries and loss. His case experience includes a $2.4 million medical malpractice jury verdict involving Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and a mid-trial settlement tied to delayed cancer diagnosis. He also won a landmark First Circuit ERISA case establishing a fiduciary duty for insurers, strengthening protections for health plan beneficiaries in benefit disputes nationwide through careful appellate advocacy work.

Trevor Savage is admitted in Maine, the US District Court for the District of Maine, and the First Circuit. His memberships include the American Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and Edward Thaxter Gignoux Inn of Court. He serves on the Maine Trial Lawyers Association board and has received Best Lawyers Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers Rising Stars recognition for plaintiff advocacy and litigation strategy.
