Katherine E.M. Chlumsky

Katherine E.M. Chlumsky is an associate attorney practicing in litigation, insurance defense, employment law, and medical malpractice defense. Since joining the civil litigation group in 2022, she has been actively involved in handling contract disputes, employment claims, and insurance-related matters. With prior experience as a general practice and family law attorney in Wichita, Chlumsky brings a wide perspective and strong advocacy skills to her litigation-focused practice today.

Chlumsky earned her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2015. During law school, she served as Senior Staff Articles Editor and Staff Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. She was also a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and earned recognition as a Top Oralist at the Rocky Mountain Regional Competition. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Bethel College.

Chlumsky’s legal career began in general practice, where she gained broad experience assisting clients with diverse legal issues. Since moving into civil litigation, she has developed a focused practice in insurance defense, medical malpractice, and employment disputes.
