Kelly J. Rundell serves as Of Counsel at Hite, Fanning & Honeyman L.L.P., where she focuses her practice on civil litigation, employment law, civil rights, and governmental liability. With decades of legal experience, she is known for her strong advocacy, practical solutions, and leadership within both the legal and civic communities.

Ms. Rundell earned her B.B.A. summa cum laude from Southwestern College in 1982 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1985. Since beginning her career that same year, she has developed an extensive background in litigation and legal counseling, drawing on both private practice and government service.

Ms. Rundell spent more than twenty years as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Wichita, where she managed complex civil litigation, advised city management, and led training programs on employment-related issues. Returning to private practice, she continues to represent clients with skill and insight, bringing a unique perspective from her time in both public and private sectors.

A recognized authority in employment law, ethics, and trial practice, Ms. Rundell frequently lectures at CLEs, contributes to professional publications, and has authored continuing legal education materials. Her leadership roles include serving as Vice President of the Wichita Bar Association, past president of the Wesley E. Brown American Inn of Court, and past president of the Wichita Women Attorneys Association. She has been honored with the Louise Mattox Attorney of Achievement Award and named to Women Who Lead in Legal Services by the Wichita Business Journal.

Beyond her legal work, Kelly J. Rundell has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Susan G. Komen Kansas Affiliate and the Wichita YWCA. She also teaches business law and negotiation as an Affiliate Faculty member at Southwestern College, reflecting her dedication to both law and education.
