He then earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, completing a joint course of study in law and theology. Before joining the firm, Joseph served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Christopher C. Bly at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In that role, he worked extensively on employment-related claims, including matters brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. This experience gave him valuable insight into how courts evaluate employment disputes and prepared him for effective advocacy on behalf of employees.
