Joseph Quattlebaum is an associate attorney with Buckley Bala Wilson Mew LLP, where he focuses his practice on employment litigation and the protection of employees’ civil rights. He represents individuals facing workplace discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-related disputes, ensuring that workers are treated fairly and lawfully. His commitment to justice is reflected in his work advocating for employees under key federal statutes.
Joseph earned his undergraduate degree from Mars Hill University near Asheville, North Carolina. He later moved to Atlanta to continue his education at Emory University, where he began with a Master of Theological Studies at the Candler School of Theology. He then earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, completing a joint course of study in law and theology. This unique academic path provided him not only with strong legal training but also with a broad perspective on fairness and justice that informs his client advocacy.
Before joining the firm, Joseph served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Christopher C. Bly at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In that role, he worked extensively on employment-related claims, including matters brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. This experience gave him valuable insight into how courts evaluate employment disputes and prepared him for effective advocacy on behalf of employees.
Joseph Quattlebaum’s practice is grounded in a dedication to protecting workplace rights and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. He combines practical litigation experience with a strong commitment to fairness, giving employees a trusted advocate when challenging discrimination, disability violations, or other unlawful practices in the workplace.
