Jeremy Keel is an associate attorney at Janssen Estate Probate & Elder Law, where he concentrates his practice on estate planning, probate, elder law, and fiduciary litigation. Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree from Drury University and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. His academic background built a strong foundation in legal theory, which he has since honed through years of practical, client-focused legal work.
Before joining Janssen Estate Probate & Elder Law, Jeremy practiced civil litigation, defending clients in insurance matters. He later transitioned into family law, gaining valuable experience in sensitive and personal legal issues. These roles prepared him to serve better estate and probate clients, where both legal and human concerns are paramount.
Jeremy assists clients with preparing wills, trusts, guardianships, and Medicaid planning strategies. His goal is to simplify the complex legal processes surrounding probate and elder law while protecting each client’s best interests. He works closely with families to ensure their futures are secure and well-structured.
Jeremy is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the LGBTQ Bar Association of Greater Kansas City, and the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations. Through these associations, he stays current with evolving laws and best practices in estate and elder law.
