Eric W. Smith

Eric W. Smith is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 25 years of courtroom experience, focused on fighting for employees and victims of serious personal injuries. His dedication to justice drives his work, especially for clients facing mistreatment at work, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and civil rights violations.

Eric began his academic journey earning a B.A. with Honors in Political Science from the University of Kansas in 1991, graduating with Highest Distinction and being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He continued at Yale Law School, where he received his J.D. in 1994, equipping him with a strong foundation in legal reasoning and advocacy.

Eric’s practice includes representing clients in age, race, sex, and disability discrimination cases, whistle-blower actions, executive contract disputes, and wage and hour class actions. His past experience representing large employers gives him a unique advantage in obtaining results for individual employees at every level—from frontline staff to executives.

Eric’s skill and integrity have earned him repeated recognition. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of legal ability and ethics.
