Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in 2004, majoring in Business Administration and Government Affairs. She later attended the University of South Dakota School of Law while commuting from Sioux Falls, showing strong determination throughout her legal education.
Jennifer began her legal career working at the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office. This early experience gave her insight into the legal system and helped shape her interest in advocating for individuals facing difficult legal issues.
After graduating from law school, Jennifer served as a judicial clerk for the Seventh Circuit Courts in Rapid City. This role allowed her to work closely with judges and gain valuable courtroom knowledge, strengthening her understanding of legal procedures and decision-making.
Jennifer began her law practice in August 2010 in Brookings, South Dakota. She has since focused on areas such as divorce, child custody, adoption, guardianships, criminal law, and civil litigation, helping clients navigate both personal and complex legal matters.
