About
Stacia Jackson is a Brookings-based attorney who is dedicated to serving her local community. She brings a thoughtful and client-focused approach to her work, helping individuals navigate legal challenges with care, clarity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Stacia earned her degree in History from South Dakota State University. She then received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2019, with honors, where she also served as managing editor of the South Dakota Law Review.
After law school, Stacia worked as a law clerk for Chief Justice Gilbertson on the South Dakota Supreme Court. This experience gave her valuable insight into the judicial process and strengthened her legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Stacia has strong ties to the Brookings area, where she was born and later returned after her clerkship. She spent part of her childhood in Arlington and Sinai and attended school in Wisconsin before coming back to South Dakota for college and her career.
Stacia is building her practice in criminal law, family law, and estate planning. She is committed to helping clients understand their options and move forward with confidence through important and often personal legal matters.
