Jeffrey A. Kramer is Of Counsel to the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group, where he focuses on bankruptcy, restructuring, and complex litigation. He represents creditors, debtors, committees, and other parties of interest in Chapter 11 proceedings and advises on strategies to address distressed debt, compliance issues, and financial restructuring.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Muhlenberg College before receiving his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. This strong academic foundation prepared him for a career at the intersection of finance and law, where he counsels corporate clients navigating bankruptcy and reorganization challenges while managing litigation risk.
In his practice, Jeffrey has extensive experience negotiating asset dispositions, debtor-in-possession financing, employee programs, nondisclosure and asset purchase agreements, and liquidation plans. He also litigates all phases of bankruptcy and distressed debt matters, including clawback and fraudulent transfer litigation. Representative cases include In re Mountain Creek Resort, Inc. (2020), In re Aphton Corp. (2010), and In re G-I Holdings, Inc. (2004–2005), reflecting his ability to handle highly contested proceedings.
Beyond bankruptcy, Jeffrey represents corporations across industries in complex commercial litigation. Clients value his ability to analyze business operations and financial performance to assess potential litigation claims and defenses. His dual focus on restructuring and litigation allows him to craft practical solutions that align with broader business objectives.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Jeffrey A.
