About
Jason S. Gray counsels Indiana clients on estate planning law, probate and trust administration, guardianships, business organizations, and succession planning at Anderson & Gray, LLC. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in inheritance tax administration for the Indiana Department of Revenue and Marion County. That experience gave him a practical foundation in estate-related financial matters. He later joined the practice while attending law school and continued developing focused experience in probate and estate planning.
Jason earned his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree from Wabash College. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Advocacy Skills. During law school, he served as a Legal Writing Tutor through the Dean’s Tutorial Society and was named to the Order of the Barristers. His academic work strengthened his research, writing, advocacy, and practical problem-solving skills for Indiana estate clients.
Jason began working with Aline F. Anderson after formally closing the Marion County Inheritance Tax Office in 2014. He attended law school through the Evening Division while continuing to work full-time. His background in inheritance tax and estate matters supports his work helping clients address probate administration, trust administration, guardianships, business structures, and succession concerns. He provides guidance designed to help clients understand legal requirements and plan effectively for the future.
Jason S. Gray is active in professional organizations connected with estate planning and probate law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis. He also participates in the Indiana State Bar Association’s Probate Review Committee and Probate, Real Property, and Trust Sections. His involvement supports continued attention to developments affecting Indiana probate and estate planning practice.
