Mike Neiman

Mike Neiman is a real estate attorney at Neiman Law in Columbus, Ohio, representing investors and developers in a broad range of commercial real estate matters. His practice includes acquisitions, developments, dispositions, commercial leasing, real estate litigation, and opportunity zone consulting. Neiman has particular experience with multifamily apartment acquisitions and works with clients throughout the transaction process, from entity formation and contract negotiation through due diligence and closing.

Neiman earned his J.D., cum laude, from Capital University Law School, where he completed a litigation concentration, served on Law Review, and received Order of the Barristers honors. He earned a B.S. in Corporate Finance from The Ohio State University. During law school, he completed externships with the Supreme Court of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, gaining additional experience with judicial decision-making and complex legal issues.

Since 2019, Neiman has structured and closed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions across the country. He regularly assists real estate partnerships with entity formation, organizational documents, purchase and sale agreements, due diligence, and closing coordination. His experience also includes investing in and developing multifamily properties, giving him practical insight into the business considerations that influence acquisitions, financing, development, ownership, and long-term real estate investment decisions.

Mike Neiman is an Ohio-licensed title insurance agent and is active in organizations connected to real estate and the legal profession. His affiliations include NAIOP, the Columbus Bar Association, and the American Bar Association; he previously served on the Ohio State Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section Council. Neiman also received the Ohio State Bar Association Real Property Section Scholarship and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Torts and Depositions.
