About
David C. Frangos is an Indianapolis attorney who represents clients in criminal defense, family law, estate planning, personal injury, small business law, and matters involving veterans. He draws on legal, business, and military experience to understand clients’ concerns and develop practical strategies for their circumstances. Frangos is admitted to the Indiana State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Frangos earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and studied aviation technology at Wayland Baptist University. His legal and business education supports a broad-based approach to problem solving, helping him assess legal risks, consider practical consequences, and guide individuals, families, veterans, and business owners through important decisions.
Before entering legal practice, Frangos completed more than 30 years of decorated military service on active duty and with the Indiana National Guard. His service included three combat tours, beginning with Desert Shield and Desert Storm and concluding with Operation Iraqi Freedom. This experience informs his disciplined approach to advocacy and his understanding of the challenges veterans may face while navigating legal and administrative matters.
David C. Frangos remains active in professional and community organizations. His memberships include the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the family law and estate planning sections of the Indianapolis Bar Association. He received the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence at the gold level in 2017 for pro bono service and serves as board vice president of a nonprofit youth camp.
