Jordan C. Butler

Jordan C. Butler is a Columbus attorney and a partner at Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP, who advises individuals and business owners on tax planning, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, intellectual property law, banking, and commercial matters. He drafts and negotiates asset and equity purchase agreements, leases, real estate purchases, income tax settlements, and business contracts. He also counsels clients on entity formation, governance, operations, and business litigation, combining transactional knowledge with practical strategies for complex business legal needs.

Jordan earned his B.S. from Miami University, his J.D. from Capital University Law School, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice before Ohio courts, the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the US Tax Court. He uses his tax and business education to advise clients on transactions, planning issues, compliance, and complex commercial legal decision-making.

Jordan works with entrepreneurs, established companies, property owners, and investors on matters involving acquisitions, financing, contracts, intellectual property, and real estate.
