Myekeal D. Wynn

Myekeal D. Wynn is the founder of Wynn Law and represents clients in Indianapolis and Central Indiana in criminal defense law, Section 1983 civil rights litigation, personal injury, family law, employment law, and business matters. He brings courtroom-focused advocacy to disputes involving constitutional rights, personal freedom, workplace issues, injuries, and business concerns. He draws on experience from private litigation, public defense, and institutional counsel roles to develop strategies shaped by the facts, risks, and goals of each case.

Myekeal earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He began his legal career as a civil litigation associate at a global law firm, where he developed experience in litigation management, negotiation, and written and oral advocacy. He later served as Assistant General Counsel at a Big Ten university, where he managed employment disputes, civil rights claims, agency complaints, and institutional risk matters involving legal and operational concerns.

Myekeal handles criminal defense and civil rights matters involving unlawful searches, false arrests, excessive force, and other constitutional claims. He has served as a Compassionate Release Advocate with the Federal Community Defenders and as a contract attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. He also represents injured clients, drawing on prior insurance defense and premises liability experience to directly evaluate how insurers assess, defend, and value personal injury claims.

Myekeal D. Wynn also brings appellate experience to family law and other litigation matters. He successfully represented a family law client before the Indiana Court of Appeals in Sanders v. Sanders. He founded his practice in 2026 after building experience in private practice, government, and institutional roles. He focuses on disciplined preparation, advocacy, and practical guidance while helping clients navigate disputes that may affect their rights, livelihoods, families, or businesses.
