Jason L. Gunter

Jason L. Gunter is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Gunter Firm, a leading employment and personal injury law practice serving clients across Fort Myers and Naples. For nearly two decades, he has focused exclusively on employment law, representing employees and employers in complex disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower claims. His dedication to client advocacy and consistent record of successful verdicts and settlements have established him as one of Southwest Florida’s most respected trial lawyers.

Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude and ranked fourth in his class of 243 students. During law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Nova Southeastern Law Review and received multiple book awards in Trial Advocacy, Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Federal Jurisdiction. His academic excellence was recognized with the Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section Scholarship.

Before establishing his own firm in 1999, Jason practiced with Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment management firm, where he gained significant experience in complex employment litigation. In 2004, he achieved Florida Bar Board Certification in Labor and Employment Law—an elite designation that recognizes exceptional legal expertise, ethical standards, and professional integrity.
