Leah P. Keele is a shareholder at Latham, Keele, Lehman, Ratcliff, Carter & Clarke P.C., and an accomplished attorney with more than 25 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense. She represents employers, insurance carriers, and self-insured entities, including Tribal Nations, with a strategic and results-oriented approach. Known for her thorough preparation and advocacy, she focuses on developing practical solutions that protect clients’ interests while minimizing costs and legal risks.
Ms. Keele earned her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where she contributed to the Tulsa Law Review, and her B.S. from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. Her education and early scholarship laid the groundwork for her detailed understanding of Oklahoma’s workers’ compensation system and related litigation strategies. She has since earned recognition from Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers®, along with an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma and the Tribal Courts of the Cherokee, Muscogee Creek, and Osage Nations, Ms. Keele’s experience extends across state and tribal jurisdictions. Her memberships include the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Workers’ Compensation Defense Institute. She also authored the “Pink Book,” a practical guide for clients navigating workers’ compensation issues.
