Freeman earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law. He also holds both a B.S. and M.S., summa cum laude, in Computer Science from the University of Alabama. Before entering private practice, Freeman managed intellectual property strategy for an AI-focused startup in Silicon Valley. In that role, he drafted patent applications, advised on claim scope, managed continuations, and counseled on international patent protection. He also prepared infringement and invalidity contentions, gaining valuable experience in the practical aspects of protecting and defending cutting-edge technology. Isaiah Freeman is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is not yet licensed in Alabama. Today, he continues to advise clients on developing, prosecuting, and managing patent portfolios, with a focus on helping innovators protect their intellectual property assets.
