Gary L. Ingram is a board-certified attorney with over 45 years of distinguished legal experience. He focuses on labor and employment law, civil rights litigation, and non-subscriber workplace injury claims. He has earned widespread recognition for his trial skills, ethical standards, and dedication to client advocacy in Texas and beyond.
Gary received his B.A. from Hendrix College and his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law. He later completed postgraduate coursework in labor and employment law. He is admitted to practice in Texas and before multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fifth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Throughout his career, Gary has represented private employers and public entities in disputes under the NLRA, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, and OSHA. He has defended clients in EEOC investigations, large-scale wage and hour collective actions, and government whistleblower suits. His work includes negotiating labor contracts with police and fire departments and advising on non-compete agreements and trade secret disputes.
Gary previously led his firm’s statewide Labor & Employment Practice Group for over 20 years, building a robust team across six offices. His courtroom experience spans arbitrations, trials, and appellate advocacy, where he’s known for his precision and effectiveness.
A frequent honoree, Gary L. Ingram has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2006–2025), named “Lawyer of the Year” multiple times, and consistently recognized by Super Lawyers, Lawdragon 500, and local publications.
