Martin earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1997. He holds a B.A. from Mississippi State University (1994), where he double-majored in Philosophy and Psychology and minored in Religion.
Licensed to practice law in eight states—including Mississippi, Texas, and New York—Martin has handled thousands of cases in areas such as pharmaceutical liability, defective medical devices, nursing home negligence, civil rights, and employment law. Some of the major litigations he has worked on include Avandia, Vioxx, Trasylol, and transvaginal mesh cases. He has held key leadership roles as Co-Lead or Co-Head Counsel in MDLs like Hydroxycut, Skechers, Cook, and Viagra Melanoma.
