Sean Herrmann is a dedicated employment lawyer with a strong focus on protecting workers’ rights across North and South Carolina. He has spent his entire legal career helping individuals in disputes with their employers. Sean takes on cases involving workplace discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, wage violations, unsafe work environments, and sexual harassment. He also advises clients on executive pay, severance agreements, and non-compete contracts. Licensed in both states, he confidently represents clients in Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Charleston, and beyond.
Sean triple-majored in Political Science, Spanish, and International Studies from Illinois College, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. He later received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he earned CALI awards for top performance in Employment Discrimination, Labor Law, and Civil Litigation Clinic.
Sean’s legal career began immediately after passing the bar. He joined a top-rated North Carolina firm, where he represented employees from day one. His work has led to major legal victories, including a $334,535 judgment in a race discrimination case in Raleigh and a $750,000 jury verdict for a workplace assault case in Charlotte.
Sean has served as chair of the NC Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section and holds memberships in several professional legal groups. He also volunteers with North Carolina Legal Aid and the Pro Se Settlement Assistance Program.
