Eric Collins

Eric Collins is a shareholder whose practice focuses on business transactions, commercial finance, real estate finance, real estate, land use, public finance, construction law, and corporate representation. He advises entrepreneurs, small businesses, financial institutions, real estate developers, contractors, and both for-profit and nonprofit organizations on a wide range of business and commercial legal matters. His practice is centered on helping clients navigate complex transactions and business operations with practical legal guidance.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from Missouri State University before receiving his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. During law school, he served as Articles & Symposia Editor of the University of Missouri–Kansas City Law Review. He also authored the publication, Level 3 v. Federal Insurance: Do You Know What Is in Your Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Policy?, published in the University of Missouri–Kansas City Law Review.

Eric began his legal career at a large Kansas City law firm before serving as an attorney with Husch Blackwell LLP from 2005 to 2009. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the American Bar Association, Cass County Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and The Missouri Bar. Since 2014, he has been selected for the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers list. He has also served in leadership roles with the Belton-Raymore Rotary Club and the Raymore Chamber of Commerce.

Eric Collins represents businesses, developers, lenders, contractors, and property owners in matters involving commercial transactions, banking and finance, real estate, construction law, and corporate representation.
