Emma earned her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where she was a Dean’s List recipient, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. During law school, Emma was an active member of Delta Theta Phi and the Women’s Law Caucus, honing leadership skills that have enhanced her legal career.

Emma launched her legal career at Edward Johnson & Associates P.C., handling both criminal and civil litigation. She then joined GEICO, where she managed a caseload of up to 250 matters and took more than 30 jury trials to verdict.
