Christopher Martin is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with unmatched experience in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Over the last 35 years, he has tried and won more cases in this field than any other practicing lawyer in the U.S. His litigation work spans high-stakes disputes arising from hurricanes, mass casualty events, and catastrophic losses.

Christopher began his legal career after earning a B.A. from Baylor University in 1987, followed by a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 1990. He is Board Certified in Consumer Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, several federal district courts, and state courts in Texas and Oklahoma.

Christopher has served as lead counsel in major national events, including the Deepwater Horizon explosion, the Twin Towers 9/11 litigation, and the Astroworld tragedy. He has also guided insurers through complex multi-district litigation and appellate matters, including over 100 appeals. His representative appellate cases have shaped Texas insurance law and influenced national litigation strategies.

Christopher’s impact extends beyond the courtroom. He currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Insurance Law at Baylor University School of Law, continuing a legacy of educating future legal leaders.

Christopher has received consistent recognition for his trial expertise. He has been named to the “Super Lawyers List” for nearly two decades and listed among the top five insurance lawyers in Texas. His reputation for excellence has earned him numerous distinctions from respected legal organizations.
