Christina Abbate

Christina Abbate is an associate in the Business Services and Litigation practice groups at Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Riverside office. She works on a wide range of litigation matters, primarily representing public entity clients in complex legal disputes. Her work reflects a strong commitment to supporting municipal and business clients with effective, detail-oriented advocacy.

Abbate earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Southwestern Law School, where she was a staff member and later senior lead articles editor for the Southwestern Law Review, and published an article in the publication’s 51st edition. She also holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was the first in her family to graduate from college and served as vice president of recruitment for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

Abbate’s legal experience includes serving as a legal intern with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, clerking for the Veterans Legal Institute, and working as a summer associate at Best Best & Krieger. These roles provided her with a strong foundation in litigation, legal research, and client advocacy.

Abbate’s academic achievements include multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, two Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence, and the Bluebook Award from the Southwestern Law Review. She also earned recognition for Best Appellate Brief in the Southwestern Intramural Moot Court Competition.
