Edgardo earned his B.A. in Political Science cum laude from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He went on to complete his M.A. in Political Science at Indiana State University and later obtained his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law in 2004.

After graduating from law school, Edgardo Martinez opened his own practice in Indiana in 2005, concentrating exclusively on immigration law. In 2014, he relocated his practice to Florida, where he continues to assist clients throughout the U.S. and internationally.
